This statue of Attalos was apparently set up during the lifetime of Eumenes II, when Attalos had already been granted the title of king, and before the time of Syll_672, which mentions it (line 62).
This statue of [king] Attalos, son of [king Attalos], was dedicated to Pythian Apollo by [the city] of Delphi, on account of his virtue [and] his good service to the city.
