Many Greek states courted the favour of Eumenes II, who was able to give generous donations to Delphi and other cities. But at about the same time, the Aetolians erected another statue at Delphi in honour of king Prusias II, although his father had recently fought a war against Eumenes ( Syll_632 ).
The league of the Aetolians honours king Eumenes son of king Attalos on account of his virtue and his benefactions towards their nation.
