On the base of a statue of Kimmerios, one of the admirals of Lysandros (see Paus_10.9'9 ) - an ancestor of Alkidamas.


Gods. The Delphians granted to Alkidamas of Ephesos, the son of (?) Alkios and grandson of Pelasgos, both for himself and for his descendants, proxeny, priority in consulting the oracle, privileged seating at games, priority in receiving justice, inviolability, freedom from taxes and the other rights which are granted to other proxenoi. When Kriton was archon, and the members of the council were Pythophanes, Mesates and Zakynthios.
