Dromeus of Stymphalos was a famous athlete of the 5th century B.C.; see Pausanias, 6.7'10 .


The Delphians renewed the status of proxenos and theorodokos, granted to (?) Hermippos and Dromeus of Stymphalos, the sons of Alexion and descendants of Dromeus; when Lyson was archon, and the members of the council were Aristion, Asopodoros and Philondas.
