Amenneus to Asclepiades greeting. In accordance with what you wrote we have got ready for the visit of Chrysippus the chief of the bodyguard and dioiketes ten whiteheads, five domestic geese, fifty fowls ; of wild birds there are fifty geese, two hundred fowls, and a hundred pigeons ; we have borrowed five riding donkeys with their . . . and have got ready the forty baggage donkeys ; and we have begun to make the road.
