Gods. [The Delphians have granted] to Eratoxenos of Athens, the son of Strato..., an epic poet who belongs to the Leontis tribe and the deme of Hekale, both to himself and to his descendants, proxeny, priority in access to the oracle, privileged seating at games, priority in receiving justice, inviolability, freedom from all taxes, and all the other rights which are awarded to other proxenoi and benefactors. When the archon was Nikarchos, and the members of the council were Praxias, Nikandros and Archiadas.
