Dittenberger suggested that the inscriptions at Delphi in honour of citizens of Kyzikos (see also Syll_377) were an indication of close links between the two cities.   Eteokles, the sculptor of this statue, is not mentioned elsewhere.


Philostratos of Kyzikos, son of Phokion, victor in the wrestling contest at the Pythian games.

Eteokles son of Eugnotos made this.
