Demetria daughter of Chaeremon, of civic rank, with her guardian the husband of her grand-daughter Demetria, of civic rank, namely Theon son of Antiochus, of the Auximetorean tribe and the Lenean deme, acknowledges to her grandson, the brother of her grand-daughter Demetria, Chaeremon son of Chaeremon, of the Maronean deme, in the street, that touching the claims which the acknowledging party Demetria advances against Epimachus son of Polydeuces or which Epimachus himself advances against her, being unable to attend the court by reason of womanly weakness she has appointed her aforesaid grandson Chaeremon to represent her before every authority and every court, with the same powers as Demetria who has appointed him would herself have had if present for she consents to this appointment. The contract is valid.
