This inscription was found at Philomelion ( modern Akşehir ). Based on the translation by John Ma ( academia.edu - document 7, with Greek text ), with some minor changes.


Aineas to Demetrios, [greetings]. The copy of the letter [written from] Philomelos, in which the copy of the letter from Zeuxis and the edict from the king are included, is appended for your attention, in the matter of the appointment of Nikanor as high priest. Concerning the other matters, act as it is said, and have [the copies] inscribed on stone steles and immediately put up in the shrine of Aphrodite in Timenenos and in the region around Killanion, in the shrine of Zeus and the in the shrine of Men Askaienos and the shrine of the Mother of the Gods in Ty... The cost of this should be paid from the sacred revenues. Year 103, ... day of Artemisios.
