This dedication was made after Ptolemaios had defected to Antiochos III ( SEG_29.1613 ). His father Thraseas had been the Ptolemaic governor of Cilicia ( SEG_39.1426 ).

Ptolemaios son of Thraseas, the strategos and high priest of Coele Syria and Phoenicia, dedicated this to Hermes and Herakles and king Antiochos the Great.
