DELPHI HONOURS THE HIEROMNEMONES

In the year when Athambos was archon, and the members of the council were Aristagoras, Damon, Pleiston, Kleoxenos and Nikodamos, it was resolved by the city of Delphi in full assembly: since the hieromnemones have been benefactors of the temple and the city, acting in a lawful and just fashion; therefore they are granted, both for themselves and for their descendants, proxeny, priority in access to the oracle, inviolability, the same rights as the Delphians, privileged seating at all the games that the city holds, and all the other honours that are given to benefactors and proxenoi.
