Although they are not named, it was probably Cleopatra VII and Caesarion who ordered this dedication to be renewed. The original location of the inscription is unknown, but Leontopolis has been suggested by K.J.Rigsby, "Asylia", pp.571-3 ( Google Books ).


On the order of the queen and king, let the message below be inscribed, instead of the previous tablet concerning the dedication of the prayer hall.

King Ptolemaios Euergetes proclaimed that this prayer hall is inviolable.
